Our Story: Tapri is the brainchild of a passionate team who shares a deep love for Indian street food and the rich heritage it represents. We are not your usual Indian Street food. We bring you food and nostalgia from the good old days of the 90s and at Tapri, you will find food and memorabilia that will take you back to those days.

We are bringing you a wide range of Indian street food delicacies. From the spicy and tangy flavors of chaats to the savory delights of Dosas and Kulchas, our menu showcases the best of Indian culinary traditions, paired with a cup of chai of course.

Whether you're craving a quick bite, a leisurely meal, or a taste of nostalgia from back home, our Indian street food will transport you to the streets of India right here in Brisbane.

Meet the dream team behind TAPRI

Our founder's story is deeply rooted in their shared passion for Indian cuisine. From the very beginning, their love for the rich flavors, aromatic spices, and diverse regional dishes of India brought them together and ignited a culinary journey that would eventually lead to the creation of our company.

Their flagship restaurant is Old Monk -Modern Indian which was established in 2022. Within the first year of successful operation was nominated as the finalist for the best Indian restaurant in Queensland.

Now the team is excited to bring you a wide range of Indian street food delicacies at Tapri.
